“I know. It's hard. But you can't burn yourself out into a peaceful dream. Trust me, I've tried,” Three tells them, voice low and reassuring. “You need the rest. I promise it's not that scary after a while.”
Four’s shoulders drop as Three speaks, unsure of what they're meant to say to that. Resting shouldn't be scary to them at all in the first place. The quiet shouldn't make them feel so uneasy, unable to focus and momentarily unaware of the fact that they're in the real world. It's so dumb. This is all so dumb. None of it was even real. So why does it make them feel this way?
