Summary
Sometimes, when you look at yourself in the mirror, you can't help but wonder "Why am I here?"
You knew your mom wasn't in love with whoever your dad was.
And you knew she gave up everything-her friends, her physical form, everything she truly cared about-to have you. But...why? She was everything you could never manage to be, confident, strong, friendly, perfect, and to top it all off, she would never stop until everyone around her was happen.
You're absolutely nothing like her, and everyone knows it.
Well, almost everyone knows. There's one person who doesn't know, or maybe he just doesn't care.
Steven Universe. Anytime you start to doubt your existence and yourself, he's always around, lifting you up and admiring you in ways you didn't know were possible.
You've been friends for your whole lives and he still admires you, somehow even more than before...
You can help but admire him more too. He means everything to you and more.
