Determined to break the stigma, Eric embarks on a messy journey of self-discovery, continuing to share his lovable personality with those around him despite the judgment. When he meets Jack Hunter, their initial tension is undeniable, as Jack challenges Eric in ways he never expected. A/N: I wanted a realistic version of how much his character changed throughout the seasons, and give an actual reason as to why. I also wanted to give some plot and character development that he deserved while also having some canon divergence! Hope you enjoy! -

Summary
Some days it was easy, some days it was harder, and some days were impossible.
He never really knew what he would feel every time he opened his eyes to start a new day, but once he did and it was the next day, and he just knew.
He knows. He knows that the weight on his shoulders is unbearable, he can’t stand up, move, brush his teeth, get out of bed, or eat.
Everything felt too much, he couldn’t handle it. He couldn’t bear it. It was impossible for him to do anything.
A part of Charlie knew that it was crazy for him to feel like this even though nothing happened to make him feel this some days.
