“Since everything ended, Vi has been plagued by insomnia. She’s spent long nights on her back staring so hard at the ceiling it starts to swirl and buzz, like moving water. For the first three days after, she doesn’t sleep. On the fourth night, she finally slips into sleep, and she’s rewarded with the anomaly.”
As a psych major and menty b haver I think about healing process on the regular. The effects trauma, grief, neuroplasticity, and all of the ways we put ourselves back together. It seemed only right for me to examine this in a Caitvi context.

The angel was gone. Zipped up to heaven like reverse lightning, leaving Crowley behind as scorched remnants of the current touching the earth. He certainly felt scorched. Something long scabbed over itched in him, a reminder of how it felt for Her grace to be ripped away. How in the first days, his body ached and shocked at the loss, a sort of phantom limb sensation sparking at his being.

The wooden wall was hard against Crowley’s back, unforgiving as Aziraphale crushed his mouth to his. He’d already forgotten what they’d been arguing over. It had been a few decades, longer than most of their petty feuds. But, he’d found him here, in America of all places, and now they were devouring each other's faces in a stable out west.

Summary
Late one night, Caitlyn and Vi both end up in the library cramming for exams. When Caitlyn's best friend, Jayce, doesn't answer his phone to be Caitlyn's escort across campus in the dark, Vi offers to walk Caitlyn to her car.
An insane idea to destress together during a spontaneous and very practical one-night-stand turns into many more nights, studying and de-stressing as tutors-with-benefits.
Between Caitlyn's insane Pre-Law class schedule and Vi's commitments to her Engineering degree and her captaincy of the rugby team - and their historic Runeterra University Rugby Championship (RURC) run - Caitlyn and Vi discover that they have a lot more in common than being stressed out of their minds and insanely attracted to each other.
Over the course of the school year, they fall in deeper and deeper, finding out in real time that, sometimes, true love can come from anywhere - even as unlikely a place as the Pilt U library at one o'clock in the morning.

Summary
They’ve just… never done anything like this before. Not to this degree, at least; the girls have had their fair share of private kisses on the cheek behind the curtains, or intertwined hands as they drunkenly stumble down alleyways after hours, or particularly soft nights where they fall asleep together, unsure of where one girl ends and another one begins.
But this is completely uncharted territory, and Rumi isn’t sure she can formulate a proper sentence right now when there’s an immense ache in her core that clearly seeks attention.
Mira’s eyes soften. Her hands snake around Rumi’s waist, eliciting a small squeak from the latter. “Beautiful, isn’t it?” she whispers, leaving it up to interpretation as to whether she was referring to the glowing patterns, or the girl who adorns them. “Good job, Zo.”
Zoey grins, blindingly, with all the pride in the world. “You mean it?”
Or, Zoey traces glitter paint all along Rumi’s patterns to suppress her insecurities one night, & Rumi ought to show her and Mira a real demon awakening as thanks.
