Summary
we all mourn differently, maybe because of religion, beliefs, culture, or background. Norton is used to losing those around him, teaching himself that it's part of the natural process. This way of carrying himself becomes troublesome when Day of the Dead rolls around again, realizing that he must add a new photo to the altar.
His friends try to help, even if it's not much.
