Satoru could still remember how he’d woken up in a cell, drugs in his 16th birthday cake and future abundantly clear.
Gojo Satoru knew nothing but hospital gowns, the scent of rubbing alcohol, medical tables and the restraints around his wrists, of unwanted touches and the living reality of just what could happen to disobedient omegas in their society. He'd learned how to be silent, how to be unmoving and unresponsive, how to blend into the background in hopes of being forgotten. Had learned how to stifle who he really was in hopes that the torture would stop.
Geto Suguru, on the other hand, panicked as an email described the worst mix up in history, his embarrassing sample sent to the fertility clinic and inside one Gojo Satoru instead of being tested for hormone levels. It hadn't taken long to see for himself the inhumanity of such a place, for him to loose his cool and money in exchanged for Gojo, a broken omega on his hands and depression ignored mold still growing in his sink.
And yet he wanted to help, to peal away those layers of trauma and memories to reveal who Gojo really was.

Summary
Where Aventurine recovers post-Penacony, Ratio makes him hand-pulled noodles, and a forced confrontation with the past nearly breaks their new budding relationship.
"Don't tell me you've gone through my trash. Or hacked my car. Or—Amber Lord forbid—asked Jade about my habits."
Ratio's frown is, actually, somehow more terrifying than the implications. Five agonising seconds later, he replies, "Of course not. I would not commit a breach of privacy for something as inconsequential as noodles."
Whether it's the forced stillness of Ratio's loose curled fists or how he schools his expression into placid nothingness, it pricks some part of his sleeping instinct, barking out a warning. There are things unsaid lingering between syllables, tittering in the corners of sibilants, and it tells him Ratio does not lie, even when he is hiding the truth.
