    Life is a strategy game for Thomas, always has been. He prides himself on his intellect: the ability to step back, evaluate each detail logically, and make the most rational, thoughtful decision. But there is no intellectualizing what's happening between him and Micro. There's no rational explanation for the feeling in Thomas's gut whenever Micro so much as looks in his direction. Except that he has, somehow, fallen head over heels for Micro.

    Thomas has a crush. And he's crushing hard.

    Alternatively, Thomas thinks that he’s doing just fine as a child solider until he meets an oddly poetic boy the night his roommate dies.

    Micro doesn't get sick easily and he just so happens to be a very stubborn guy who refuses help even if he needs it.
    His partner, Thomas on the other hand -despite loving to tease and make being jokingly mean- loves to care for other people, so when Thomas finds Micro sick on a bench on his way to lunch, you know full well Thomas took very good care of Micro despite Micro telling him over over again that he was old enough to care for himself.
