Tommy’s close to phasing straight in through those bars and finishing the arrogant prick off right now. The mere thought of swinging a swift knife into the side of this monster’s head is increasingly tempting with every moment the fucker spends analysing Tommy, scrutinizing him. It’s only the honour he has for democracy that keeps him from doing so.
Or, he hopes that’s what it is at least.
“For an endangered species, you sure do seem to have had a few troubles, hey mate?”
Tommy can see the way the vampire inspects him for wings, likely presuming he’s simply had them butchered off for flourishing sales at the Dark Auction.
“Shut the fuck up, you ancient bastard–”
“Be careful now, little ghost.” There’s a threat to the Angel’s tone, one that sounds more like an adult scolding a petulant child. But there’s more to it, there’s an undeniable danger spreading like an infection with every word. “Don’t let that anger blind you. We can talk about this civilly, after all.”
“Fucking rich coming from the likes of you.”
The Angel of Death only smiles, toothy and dangerous.
