Lance pauses, hands stiffening where he had been carefully bandaging Keith’s stab wound. He looks up to meet indigo eyes, hazy with pain and whatever poison the blade had been doused in.
Adoring, as they stare into him. Lance swallows.
“What makes you say that?” he asks, entertaining it. His fingers tremble a little on the cloth he’s using, and he wills them to go still.
“I dunno,” Keith slurs, and he manages a huff of laughter at that. “You look like the love of my life.”

Lance's heart beats out of his chest at the pet name, eyes dilating further as he obeys, legs spreading for the prince to get in between them.
It should feel unnatural, how pliant he's become under those sword-calloused hands. He had always thought himself someone dominant, as most Galra are.
But his soul had deemed Keith worthy of being vulnerable to— worthy of his submission.

Keith blinks. After a second, he moves to adjust his head on his pillow in order to properly look down where his love is tucked against him, fingers idly tracing over his collarbone— where another scar mars his pale skin.
“I have a lot of scars, Lance,” he replies. And it’s the truth; they both do, enough to lose count. “I don’t keep track of all of them.”
Lance hums. “I do. You got that one saving me.”

“We broke up,” Will said. “About a year ago, actually.”
Mike sat up straight, so quickly he nearly knocked his beer bottle off the side of the building. He fumbled for it, catching it at the last second. Will pretended he didn’t see, though he didn’t turn his head fast enough for Mike to miss his grin.
Mike and Will return to Hawkins for their high school reunion.

That seemed to be the right thing to say because Will blushed hot and ducked his head slightly, giving him the same frantic, flustered look he’d become used to before Will went to college and got a boyfriend and became so unbearably pretty it kind of choked the life out of Mike to be alone with him.
Will won't shut up about his new boyfriend. Mike is totally Normal about it.

The walkie at Will’s hip crackled, as if Mike felt his ears burning. “Will,” he said, voice low.
Will unhooked the radio from his belt. Nervous energy coursed through him, and he took a deep breath before answering. “Yeah?”
“You okay down there?”
“I’m good. You?”
“Me too.” Then, a little bashful: “I got you something.”
Will’s face hurt from trying not to smile like an idiot. “Really?”
“Guys,” Lucas cut in, exasperated. “Get your own channel if you’re going to flirt.”
Mike confesses his love in subtle ways at the end of the world. It takes a minute for Will to catch up.

Mike swallowed roughly, and then confessed in a croak, “Yeah, I do. I think about how much I miss you, and–I think about all the things I want to do with you.” All the things I want to do to you.
“Oh,” Will breathed.
Mike and Will get stuck in the wine cellar at the Lumax wedding.
