Even with his blatant insubordination, Castiel took note of Dean. He loved all humans, but Dean was different. He found himself bounding to his side whenever called, fighting to the death to protect him, thinking about him at all times. Dean found himself trusting Cas even more than his own brother. Slowly, they become everything to each other. And maybe that's their downfall. But maybe it's exactly what they needed.

What if Cas and Dean were canonically gay like the writers so CLEARLY wanted? I ask myself that every time I rewatch it. So I'm making it happen. The first chapter is going to be the only true canon so that maybe I won't be copyrighted. But Strap in for the Destiel we all fucking deserved. No internalized homo/biphobia, either. Dean is bi and he's okay with that because I'm tired of the whole "I'm not gay, Cas" shit. This is my self care fic so read it or don't but I'm doing what I want.
