Summary
After Dean's death and the disappearance of his body, Sam is left broken. He shuts everyone out and dedicates all of his time to hunting, trying desperately to distract himself from the overwhelming emptiness he felt.
In his grief, he forgot about the one person who could've shared in his pain, who was suffering alongside him.

Summary
I got really bored in the middle of the night, and my sister had been playing "Devil's Train" by The Lab Rats a lot recently, so I turned it into a story. I recommend giving it a listen before reading, though it's not necessary.
I wrote this forever ago, and I'm not gonna go through it cause I'm working on other things at the moment, so just bear with me if it isn't great.

Bile rises in Spencer's throat and he jolts up from his chair, rushing out of the room and ignoring every foul insult that spits out of Adams' mouth. He slams the interrogation room door shut, blood roaring in his head and tears prickling at his eyes. JJ is in front of him, handing him a file with a tight, withdrawn look on her face and telling him something about a timeline.
He glances at the page she hands him, at that one stupid box that’s ticked ‘yes’ lazily in some physician’s scrawled handwriting- such an easy slide of the pen for whoever drew it and such a life altering, earth shattering consequence for him. He hurls the paper at the two-way window furiously, scrubbing his watering eyes with his free hand.

Summary
The team is called to Yuma, Arizona upon the discovery of a body in the desert bent into the shape of a star. With no connections and a strange cause of death, the BAU has very little to go on. To complicate matters, Spencer's headaches have returned and are more intense than ever, pushing him to the limit. Once four more bodies turn up, the team finally catches a break in the case only for two of their members to be captured by the unsubs. Will the rest of the team be able to save them before the damage is irreversible?

Summary
Spencer Reid was fine.
It didn't matter that his coworkers were starting to notice things about him, things he's been trying to hide in plain sight for years. And yeah, perhaps his boyfriend (who they hadn't even known about) gets a bit angry sometimes, but that's only natural if you have to deal with someone like him for a long period of time. And he's the first person who's stuck around.
So Spencer is fine. Absolutely, unconditionally fine.
Only the stray bruises, staring into space and flinching at every unpredictable movement or sound are there to say otherwise.This ended up being a lot more psychologically disturbing than I imagined, even for my usual content, so please please proceed with caution. If you're not in the right headspace right now, be careful if you still choose to read this. All content warnings will be in the notes of Ch1. Please read them.
Fun fact, I was listening to the full album of Everywhere at the End of Time for the most part while writing this. That might have contributed to the style lol
