Ilya smiled at him softly, his shaky hands coming up to brush along Shane’s freckles. Even in the dark they were impossible for Ilya to miss. He was drawn to them in the dark and the light. He then pulled Shane forward, Shane nuzzling his head into the space between Ilya’s neck and collar bone. For a while, they just laid there. Quiet, breathing with each other, listening to the sound of the others’ hearts beating faintly. Shane left wet kisses on Ilya’s collarbone before he picked his head up.
“Let me take care of you.”
