Summary
Sasuke Uchiha was the furthest away from anyone's description of a carefree spirit, a go with the flow type of person, or even a relaxed one at that. He liked plans, made up arguments in his own mind, and prepared for every little thing in his life. From dealing with his father's constant disdain towards his Omega status, to his brother's annoying remarks about him finding a mate, to everyone's expectations of him. Sasuke knew exactly what to do in every scenario.
Except when it came to him. To that tan, blond haired Alpha who knew just how to mess with every little wall and mechanism Sasuke had carefully created. His childhood friend, and not so secret crush, Naruto Uzumaki. So that's why Sasuke allowed himself to need Naruto. A simple deal: they would help each other out during Sasuke's heats and Naruto's rut, no strings attached and no feelings allowed. Well, that deal turned into something else really quickly. And completely out of Sasuke's control.
Everything with Naruto and Sasuke seemed to happen like that, like small little happy accidents. First kiss. First time. A baby.

Summary
Something unreadable is on Kakashi’s face, but he doesn’t seem impressed. “You two are eloping?”
“No,” Naruto says pointedly. His gaze drops to the floor. For once, he chooses his words carefully. “But if he can’t stay, then I’ll go with him.”
Kakashi’s voice is grave. “You’re the number one candidate for Hokage. You tirelessly ranted on and on about how this is your dream. Are you going to give up all that hard work?”
“It’ll just be a little while,” Naruto mutters, not quite believing himself.
“Surely you aren’t that naïve, Naruto,” Kakashi warns. “If you leave with Sasuke, I don’t think we’ll ever see you again.”
“I’m not being naïve,” Naruto says. “I would come back.”
Kakashi’s voice has dropped any pretence of humour. “I thought you hated people who lie to themselves the most.”
After their legendary battle and final fight in the Valley of the End, Naruto slowly heals in the hospital. Sasuke doesn’t.
Three years later, whilst on a diplomatic mission to the Hidden Grass Village, Naruto encounters a masked mercenary who takes him by storm.

Summary
Finally, when Naruto is bursting with it, Sasuke makes his move.
The sky throbs, thunder rolls through thick stormclouds, rain drips in rivulets like tears down their cheeks. And then Sasuke does something remarkably ordinary; he smiles.
“I love you so much.”
Naruto freezes.
(In which, after the war Sasuke realizes what it is he wants. Naruto eventually catches up.)

Summary
“So you do remember me.”
Naruto turns a pretty pink, and it matches the t-shirt he has on. His lips slowly widen to show his white teeth, and Sasuke can’t comprehend anything other than Naruto. There’s noise coming out of Naruto’s mouth, but all Sasuke can manage is to stare at his face blankly, and try to speak when it sounds like it’s his turn to talk, but nothing is connecting in his brain.
