“I’m broken,” Nanami murmured, the words barely holding together. He gave Gojo a sad smile. “Aren’t I? That’s why I’m not pregnant. That’s why we can’t have a pup.”
Gojo’s touch stilled for a moment before his thumb brushed along Nanami’s cheek, slow and deliberate. “Oh, sweetheart,” he whispered, voice soft but firm, “you’re not broken.”
Nanami’s breath trembled, as if he wanted to believe him but couldn’t find the strength.
“Then why can’t I be pregnant?” he whispered, the question spilling out before he could stop it. “Why isn’t it happening? We do everything right—every time. It’s been years, I don’t understand.” His hands pressed weakly against his still-flat stomach. “I just want our pup. With you. I want our family.”

He didn’t have much time to bask in his misery, though. Suddenly, Kento felt a hand at his lower back, and a low voice pressed into his ear.
“Hey, handsome. Can I buy you a drink?” It said.
Instinctively, Kento’s spine went rigid. He jumped away and turned in indignation before he could fully process the voice, and when he turned, it took him another second to register because it was none other than Satoru Gojo.
Part 3 of Let’s Get Drinks: where Nanami goes on a solo mission that turns out to be more than what he bargained for. Afterwards? He’ll need a fucking drink.

"Satoru walks in slow, measured steps. The GameCube sits there. He stares, trailing a hand across the box to the game that's taped to the side.
It's a multiplayer game.
Who would play with me? Satoru runs through the list of potential people. His cousins come to mind, though they're reluctant to play with him on account of their parents discouraging them. He knows plenty of other clan kids, any of whom might jump at the chance to be personally invited to the Gojo compound by Gojo Satoru himself.
They just end up staring at me at gatherings though. He's certain that they've been instructed to gain his favour. There's no other explanation for them to constantly be batting their lashes or sitting too close for comfort and especially to be laughing when he's not even trying to be funny.
Maybe I really am that humourous. Satoru is considering this very seriously when the door opens behind him, someone padding in with gentle steps."

Gojo talks a lot but never about his past.
