“You’re a wrong’un,” came the muffled retort.
“You’ve got to be so bored by now,” Phil said, a little bit of exasperation leaking into his voice. “Are you sure?”
“I hate you,” said the blonde guy in the corner. He was curled up on himself, knees pulled to his chest, face buried in his arms, but Phil could imagine the scowl on his face.
“Uh huh,” Phil said. “Food’s still in the chest by the door. Don’t open the door at midday unless you want to boot up the cooling system. And if you mess with the runic imparter again you better be prepared to fix it this time.”
“I hope somebody stabs you. Through the chest. With a big sword.”
“Have a good day,” Phil said, and shut the door.Or: Tommy dies in prison, and wakes up in an alternate reality. Wandering adventurers Phil and Techno aren’t entirely sure they’re equipped to handle this.

Pix had a very odd look on his face. Which wasn’t unusual, these days, with all the mysterious visitors from, apparently, another dimension running around and erecting their giant tower of madness and whatever else they were doing. But that look was currently directed at a very specific Hermit, and considering the avian wasn’t even doing anything odd at the moment – just gathering wood, it seemed – Fwhip was naturally curious as to what was going through the eccentric archaeologist's head.

“Grian, hold him still, I’ll break his bloody nose for you—” Joel offered, bouncing faintly on the balls of his feet with astonishing balance and coordination considering he had far outdrank Jimmy tonight.
“Don’t—” Grian gasped out, finally managing to flip himself on top of his assailant, hair mussed and glasses knocked off. They’d gone skittering (thankfully not into the street) and Jimmy stooped to pick them up and tuck them in his pocket for lack of anything better to do. The avian (and it was another avian Jimmy saw now— one that had dark wings with flashes of bright white, that Jimmy couldn't make out very well when the person was trying to bite Grian) was swearing profusely, blonde head held to the sidewalk, and feet trying to twist and kick Grian. Presumably in the crotch, although it looked like he’d hit whatever he could reach. “It’s a kid Joel, for fucks sake,”
“I’ll hit a kid,” Joel said uncertainly, eyes squinting. “...How old?”
“I’m thirty fuckface!” The kid managed to get his face clear of the ground, finally bit Grian, and the two went rolling apart.

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time to update.
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
