Howard/Raj
"Howard, please. Go away..."
His voice trembled, as if he was about to burst into tears. But Howard didn't want to hurt him any more.
The truth was that Raj was too much for him. He didn't deserve him. And he deserved to suffer because he was a coward.
He pulled away from his grip, lowered his gaze, and slowly shifted. Raj held his breath.
Was it that easy then?
Was he just going to walk away and be done with it?
He heard the dry rattle of the door and then saw him leave. But he didn't move because he had the impression that Howard didn't move either. There was a door and a thin wall separating them.
And neither of them moved, as if they were waiting.
Howard didn't want to leave and Raj didn't want to let him go. One was always chasing the other in an endless loop.
Endlessly.
Raj was still holding his breath, he had forgotten how to breathe. He lifted his gaze, he had foreseen it.
