Summary
Hans was very drunk. They had sat together, side by side by the fire. The young lordling was near dosing; his eyes shuttered at half-mast. His gilded lashes were very long, and cast shadows upon the panes of his high cheeks.
Pretty. He was very pretty. The thought was upon Henry before he could outrun it. The other lad was very drunk, and his eyes were glazed and unseeing. Unchecked, Henry was left to look his fill. And, furthermore, he found himself much too sotted to care, let alone chastise himself for the impropriety.
Hans confided, that he had once fancied himself in love with a bathhouse whore. Her name had been Klara. He had brought her flowers. She had preferred some other fellow though, and now she would not entertain him. He wasn't sad about it, though.
And then, the young nobleman had said the queerest thing. So queer, that Henry had turned his words, over and over in his head since laying down upon his bedroll.

Summary
Dean’s extended period of self-discovery and inner reflection, of addressing all those fleeting little notions of his that maybe weren’t so little or fleeting after all, had culminated in one inescapable, terrifying fact.
He’s in love with Cas. Hopelessly, completely, embarrassingly in love with him.
They’ve just never had what they needed to explore this before, never had time, solitude, a real moment to breathe.
But they have it now, Dean thinks. He’s made damn sure of that.

Summary
“You boys need anything else?” Mandy ask when she reappears beside the table, eyes bright and hopeful. “Coffee? Tea?” Her eyes rake over Cas and she bites her lip, sending every signal in the book. “Some dessert?”
Dean grins as Mandy looks between them, mostly at Cas. Cas gives Dean the ‘is that an innuendo?’ squint and Dean nods. “You know in fact we would like some dessert. My buddy here’s kind of shy about it so we were hoping for…something to take back to our room.”
“Really?” Mandy purrs, finally looking at Dean with some interest.
“Yeah, but we were hoping for something we could split.” Mandy’s eyebrows go high just as Cas’s eyes get even narrower. “Anything like that on the menu?”
Mandy looks between the two of them, licking at her lips. “I think I can get something like that for you.”

Summary
Cas doesn’t finish his thought, just smiles darkly to himself, eyeing Dean’s mouth, thumb swiping across Dean’s lower lip. “Sometimes all I can think about is getting you alone.”
Dean feels his heartbeat pick up at the way Cas’s voice dips lower, his tone not so light and casual anymore. That look is in Cas’s eyes right now, his intentions clearly written on his face.
“Got me alone right now,” Dean says slyly, a smirk forming. He’s hoping to coax Cas into action because the low thrum of arousal he’s been ignoring is sparking to life, and the heat in Cas’s words is definitely promising.
“I do, don’t I?” Cas replies, humming agreeably. “That does open up a lot of possibilities.”

Summary
