Summary
After everything that's happened with Chronos, Zagreus is helping rebuild- as well as finally (though belatedly) coming into his godhood and all that entails. Now he finds himself with a beloved sister, new faces, and new challenges. He's married the love of his life, there's peace with the Olympians, and his father is attempting to treat him a bit more nicely these days- by all accounts, Zag's life is going good- smoothly, even he should dare say.
Unfortunately though, he forgot about his extensive family's tendency to meddle.

“A door?” Father repeats, scornfully. “This is what you’re bothering me for?”
“Yes, well, I’ve just been thinking, it’d be nice to maybe be able to close off my chambers,” Zagreus says, refusing to be discouraged. “It’s just, my room is right outside the lounge, and Mother Nyx spends a lot of her time in the hallway, and I—”
“You wouldn’t need a door if you didn’t spend so much time lounging about your chambers, and instead put yourself to some use. Unlike you, boy, our House Contractor has quite enough work to do without spending the time, effort, and resources on such a trivial matter.”
Typical. What did Zagreus expect?
Of all the frustrations that come with growing up in the House of Hades, lacking a door to his chambers should be the least of Zagreus’ problems. But somehow, it still makes a difference.

Summary
“I may have stumbled upon one of my godly powers,” Zagreus admits, “while I was exploring the surface.”
Thanatos, bless him, looks unspooked. “That’s nice, Zag.”
“What do you mean that’s nice, Zag?”
“Well, you’re a god, aren’t you? It was bound to happen.”
Zagreus is the god of blood, the god of life.
He dismissed this title as a formality, another honorific to join Prince of the Underworld and Head of Security.
But Zagreus can brings things to life now. And like with most things, he's discovered that by accident, of course.
