Summary
Alastor and Vox, well — how can he put it?
Natural foes, as if the second they descended to hell, Fate drew their destinies at the opposite sides of each other. Often, Vox wonders if they’ll ever see a world where they stood by each other’s side. If the pride ring was at war, would they stand together in its defense? If hell? Vox wants to laugh; he got his answer now. A resounding no. Not because Alastor would switch sides, but because he would run away.
Pussy.

Alastor hasn't been around Pentagram City, and it's starting to get on Vox's nerves, especially when he realizes there's a gap in his memory, dating back to the day Alastor was last seen.

Summary
"Hey Seungmin?"
Jisung says to the clouds as they lay on the sand. The clouds obviously don't respond. But Seungmin beside him hums in curiosity. Silence passes a beat too long and Seungmin props his head up on his hand to look at Jisung directly. Jisung doesn't dare look back, afraid his heart will fall out of his ass.
Tell him you're in love with him. his inner monologue urges. He opens his mouth to speak, but his words are lodged in his throat, unable to escape. Maybe if he looks at Seungmin, he'll find his confidence. Eyes that were once comforted by the sky now shift to Seungmin's face, eyebrow raised and lip quirked as he waits for Jisung's question.
A familiar feeling rushes through Jisung. He smiles at Seungmin, "You're my best friend."

Fountains of color scatter the buildings, and flags fly at every other mile. Their city's Pride Parade has barely even started and yet for some dumb fucking reason, they already lost Jisung.
Felix finds him just in time.

And if he hears the news playing on Chan’s TV about an apartment unit downtown catching fire, he won't bother hiding his smile. It’s what he deserved.
Maybe next time, he’ll think before he cheats.
