Jabber’s pink eyes dart over to Zanka, stabbing into the fast-beating heart behind his ribcage. There’s a dangerous gleam below the usual haze, and slowly but steadily, the corners of Jabber’s mouth tug into an impossibly broad grin. He wipes his nose with the entire length of his sleeve, and Zanka can’t tear his eyes away from the tongue that darts out to catch some of the blood running down his face. When he smiles, his teeth are coated in red, and the sight makes Zanka’s stomach flip.

Summary
Mindlessly, Zanka enters another narrow street when he hears a thud somewhere behind him. Without the rhythmic tap of his steps, it’s eerily quiet, with no sounds at all. The exception, a low whistle on his left, sounds awfully like breathing. He only gets one glance at Jabber’s flying dreads and wild eyes before Mankira and his Lovely Assistaff clash.

Almost the entire team is here, at this bar that’s in the middle between dingy and overpriced and acts as their usual after-game hangout place. They’re drinking and laughing, easy-going and riding on the fact that Aiku, Niou and Fukaku won’t get carded buying shit for the rest of the team. The rest is probably dealing with their loss in a healthier way than drinking away their sorrows, but tradition is tradition, and Aiku is a responsible captain.
Still, he can’t bring himself to fully enjoy the evening. Every minute or so, his eyes flicker over his teammates. The familiar head of pink hair is missing, and that’s so unlike Sendou that it’s actually making Aiku worry.

Summary
Generally, it is agreed on—as in, those are the words that stick best to the blank canvas that is Nagi Seishirou—that he is a loner and a sloth. In the mouths of meaner people, this list goes on: Nagi’s carefree to the point of being indifferent to everything, withdrawn, and unintelligent.
Mikage Reo, on the other hand, is different. Different because he fits in, of course. He could have picked anyone to be his friend, but for reasons unknown he chooses Nagi.

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
