Agatha looks up at this, anger encroaching her.
“I abandoned you? Oh, please! You took him, Rio! I didn’t even get to say goodbye!” Agatha screams, centuries of pain in her voice. “I gave birth alone! I raised him alone!” Agatha’s voice cracks, her torment soaking her words. Rio flinches back, the weight of her mistakes burning through her.
“I will make up for it. But you have to come with me, mi vida. He’s waiting-“ Rio starts, before she is interrupted by a slap.
“Don’t.”
And she doesn’t.
Rio falls silent, the weight of her mistakes crushing her.
“Just… let me get my purple back. Then we can continue this, okay? But not until I am… formidable again.”
