Sampo skipped through the now barren streets, humming a melody with no rhyme or rhythm. He embraced the feeling of each drop on his skin, letting excitement wash over him. How long since he last saw rain, since he last took in the smell of the earth? The rain would become sleet sooner than later, so best that he savored it now. He didn’t need to worry about feeling cold.
