Summary
“Why do you think people get married?” Jughead asks suddenly.
It surprises Betty and she doesn’t have an answer to it. She’s been reading a lot of books lately, but unfortunately, she has yet to come upon the reason why people get married.
“I don’t know. Maybe you just have to one day... when you get older.”
“Huh. Well, I think I won’t get married even if I get older,” Jughead states, his tone flat.
“How come?” Betty asks, propping her head on one hand as she faces Jughead. He has his eyes closed.
“I think marriage makes people sad and angry. It makes two friends hate each other, and call each other names.”

Summary
“I am on my way to the other side to bring fish bait to my dad. If you could wait a little, I can get back to you, and probably help you get home, or—”
“I can come with you!” Betty exclaims before Jughead can finish his sentence.

Summary
Jughead takes the brown bags and pads to the kitchen. He arranges the table for three, like it’s the most normal thing to do, when he remembers that Betty no longer lives in the trailer.
“Would you like to stay for dinner?” he asks in her direction. “I think my dad forgot that you no longer live with us. He got take-out for three.”
Betty’s profile lightens up, and looks like she’s about to agree, when FP calls out from across the room, practically shouting, “Would you like to stay forever?”

Summary
Jughead Jones is on the final year of his training as a thoracic surgeon when he began experiencing ferocious chest pains that seized him at arbitrary times of the day; sometimes, he coughed out blood accompanied by curious forms that distinctly resemble flower petals.
He discovered (with great incredulity) that he suffered from a disease called Hanahaki Disease - a rare type of disease that allegedly affects individuals that suffer from a profound unrequited love. He'd have easily dismissed it as an alternative fact when he realized that his symptoms started appearing when his best friend of a decade started dating a man of prominent stature, and he watched her slip away from him.
Fortunately for Jughead, the disease is completely curable. It'd go away when the object of the patient’s affections returns his feelings, or by surgical removal. As a surgeon, the choice shouldn’t have to be difficult for Jughead; but as he discovered, once the curious growth is resected from the diseased lungs, the feelings along with all memories of the beloved disappear. And if he leaves the disease on its natural course, he may end up dead.

Summary
“I wish we could just go. Just… hop on a motorcycle and leave Riverdale… go to a place where there’s no crazy moms, or drunken dads…”
“Like Romeo and Juliet but we live happily ever after instead.”
Or, AU. Where Betty and Jughead made it out of their childhood hometown and made it big in the outside world. Only there’s no motorcycle involved, and certainly not with one another.
Or, a world where Betty is a popular Hollywood singer who secretly hates her glamorous but insular celebrity life, so she sets out to find an ex-boyfriend in an attempt to feel genuine connection again. And Jughead is a professional photographer who is incapable of getting over an ex-girlfriend.

Summary
A slightly poetic take on our favorite Bughead scene in Riverdale 2.12; all in Jughead's point of view.

When Jughead Jones was imprisoned in the juvenile detention center, he was bent on pushing Betty Cooper out of his life. This was the last draw that pushed Betty over the edge, and it took a toll on her mental state.

Summary
This is my take on what was going on inside Jughead's mind after Betty sent Archie to allegedly break their relationship, and after he went through the gauntlet. Basically, post season 2 episode 5. So, spoiler alert!
