“Where are you going, Mob?” That familiar voice lacked its usual chipper tone.
Mob didn’t reply- partly because of spite, and partly because he didn’t trust himself to speak without his voice breaking. He continued to the door and stepped into his boots.
“Mob.”
Mob’s hand found the doorknob and twisted it. It didn’t budge. His brows furrowed, and his shoulders slowly slumped forward until his forehead pressed against the wood.
“Verity, open the door.” Just like he thought, his voice came out quiet, unstable with emotion. There was a pause. Verity’s smile never changed.
“It’s nighttime. There may be monsters nearby.”
Mob scoffed. “I know it’s night, Verity, just- open the damn door.” His fingers tightened around the knob, wiggling it impatiently.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Verity spoke slowly.
“Well, I appreciate the input,” Mob replied, still witty even when distressed. “Open it.”

Sooooo I haven’t found a SINGLE Swap AU x 007n7 fic except for stuff in oneshots, so I’m like, “If nobodys making this, Imma make it”, so this fic was born in a google doc using my dang school account.
And EVERYBODY, yes, EVERYBODY, EXCEPT THE KIDS, will be in this 007n7-centric harem. Everybody’s swapped EXCEPT for 007n7, so it's a swap AU x OG!007n7 fic. Will add more characters soon, maybe even the NPCs in the lobby, but now, it’s mostly just the playable characters.
This is a FORSAKEN SWAP AU where The Spectre was bored and decided to swap EVERYONE except 007n7, who had accidentally glitched out into The Spectre’s limbo and then didn’t get swapped, then The Spectre decided to make EVERYONE fall in love with that single father yay! This was written before the Swapsaken update in Forsaken
This was inspired by: “Love Bug” by TVgirl000, and “007n7’s guide to friendship! (Gone Wrong)” and also “Why is everyone looking at my dad in a weird way?” by Anonymous

Verity stopped what he was doing, to look at Mob. "...What's coming?"
Mob looked away toward the window, sunlight catching in his emerald eyes. "Just something..It's... not dangerous or anything." He paused. "...Probably."
Verity stared for a second before letting out a small nervous laugh. "'Probably' isn't exactly reassuring, Mob."
"...I know...Just. Don't be nosey, okay?" reassured Mob.Verity didn't understand. But judging by the uncertain look on Mob's face...He wasn't so sure himself. "...Could've I prevented this... thing from coming?"
Mob blinked. "...No." The answer came surprisingly quickly. "It would've happened eventually."

Eight months into his career as a vigilante Mob, better known as Redstep, dreams of becoming a real hero. Mob patrols the cities of New York in hopes of making his dream a reality one day. However, dreams are mere fantasies. His strive takes a hit when he runs into a b-tier villain and Mob realizes ambition isn’t enough to make his wish come true. Later on, Mob stumbles upon something far more interesting and stranger than any villain or hero he’s ever seen. Against his better judgment, Mob befriends a smiley orb. Not knowing that he set himself on a path that no longer belongs to him.
TLDR; Vigilante AU with the Something Is At Your House, Something Is Knocking At Your Door, and Something Won’t Let You Leave series! Including some cameos that include other creators in the Minecraft horror mod/ARG scene!
