Summary
Yangyang squints. Puts the sword down. Squints harder when Xiaojun beams, his tone instantly flipping to something jarringly chirpy. “Wow, that was a scare, huh? We haven’t had a dragon in a while. Usually they introduce you to one of the villains, but maybe they needed to let you off easy. Early game aggression tutorial—I guess it’s gotten kind of adaptive? You know how it is.”
“I do not know how it is,” Yangyang replies, still wheezing, still very much not recovered from the dragon or the spandex or the fact that the room smells like when he first tried to work a grill.
“Well,” continues Xiaojun brightly, sweeping perfectly shiny bangs out of his perfectly shaped eyes, “that means you’ll get to find out. Let’s grab a coffee and catch up, My Best Friend.”
Yangyang gets trapped in a video game with only a strange guide named Xiaojun as help. It goes really smoothly, obviously.

Summary
“Well? Are we ready to go, Manager-hyung, or is someone else driving me today?”
“I only turned twenty-five two weeks ago; we’re the same age,” Kun replied. “And—I’m Kun. Qian Kun.”
Qian Kun, Ten mouthed. He smiled, a little impish. It was still a nice smile. “Manager-ge, then?” he tried, and laughed when Kun reddened. “Come on. If you’re late you’ll probably get fired, and the interim admin are so annoying.”
Kun is famous idol Ten Lee's manager. It's worth the headache, sometimes.

Summary
“Hopeless,” says Ten, exasperated, but his eyes are crinkling fondly. “Yangyangie told me he wants—”
“I didn’t say anything.”
“Do you not, then?” Kun asks. His tongue swipes anxiously across his bottom lip. He has a nice mouth, too, small and plush.
Yangyang replies, his voice smaller than he wants it: “Do you?”
At this, Kun laughs, breathless and disbelieving, and Yangyang’s heart drops through his chest, into the floor, before Kun says, “Have you seen yourself? How could I not?”
Ten wants Yangyang and Kun all at once, and Yangyang's happy to oblige.

Summary
Dejun isn’t homophobic.
He’s not gay, but he works in theatre, so most of his friends are. He thinks gay people should, like, be able to get married and have kids and whatever else gay people can’t do right now. He’s even kissed the odd guy at a party during one drinking game or another: mostly just a light peck, but if they want to take it further, he’s not gonna back off. He’s pretty sure he’s passing most ally benchmarks here.
But if he’s not homophobic, he’s not sure how to explain his reaction when Yangyang brings a guy home.
It turns out Dejun doesn't have any problem with Yangyang kissing guys if it's Dejun he's kissing.

Summary
“So,” Yangyang continues after a moment, “I thought, you know. Why not get some practice with my bro?”
Dejun says: “Your bro.”
“It’s not like we have to go super far or anything. I mean—I obviously don’t want to,” Yangyang lies through his teeth. “But being bad at kissing is embarrassing. And you’re the only person I can practice with where it would be, like. Not a huge deal or anything.”
“Not a huge deal,” echoes Dejun. Yangyang wonders if he’s going to just repeat back whatever he says for the rest of the night.
“You know. It doesn’t even count.” He tries for a grin. “Since we’re bros.”
Yangyang suggests kissing practice with Dejun. Just, like, as friends, in a chill way. Obviously it goes totally fine.
