It’s a nice box, Zelda thinks. Simply but skillfully carved, made of dark, polished wood with a gold clasp and a hinged lid. Elegant, but understated. The kind of box you might use for storing silverware, or handkerchiefs, or jewellery.
The kind of box you probably wouldn’t keep under a bed.

Summary
Dan Heng and Caelus have left the Astral Express crew and made their way down to Amphoreus, and everything immediately starts to go wrong. When they finally reach a semblance of safety and Dan Heng thinks he can start to relax, new nightmares invade his sleep, rendering him restless and exhausted. As long as Caelus is safe and doesn't notice, though, Dan Heng convinces himself he can just ignore it, that it's no different than the nightmares he's had before. Even if they do leave him with a strange, longing feeling for a few moments after waking. Unfortunately for him, his nightmares have a different plan. It doesn't help that his Nameless companion is far more observant than he's let on, and has definitely noticed a shift in how his best friend acts. And the need to know what's up is eating at him.
Will either of them ever realize how they feel before it's too late?

Summary
Kazuki’s blood runs cold. "Ojiro? Are you hurt?" There's a brief panic that settles into his stomach, and it's one Kazuki forces himself to swallow down.
Ojiro slowly opens his eyes to look at him, then pauses, inhaling deeply, as if considering his next words carefully. "…Don’t worry about it."
Kazuki’s eyes narrow, feeling his heart racing. "Don’t worry about it?" Kazuki repeats, tone harsher than he intended. “You’re struggling to sit upright, Ojiro. What do you mean, don’t worry about it?”
"It..." Ojiro trails off, looking away. He shrugs with difficulty, and it makes it clear he’s avoiding eye contact with Kazuki, almost out of guilt. "...It's nothing to worry about. It doesn't hurt that much."
