Summary
After everything that went down with the Crime Syndicate and then Spyral, Nightwing couldn't do it anymore. Diana is tired of it. She's tired of watching Neal walk around the office with a pep in his step and a smile on his face like everything is okay when it isn't. He watched a plane explode with his girlfriend on it and then went to prison for two months, yet he's acting like everything is completely fine? It's obnoxious. And, quite frankly, though she'll never admit it to anyone... she's worried about him.
She's tired of watching him try to go through this alone. And if that means she has to step up as his friend... well, maybe she'll do that just this once.
