Summary
Kyle took a deep breath, attempting not to cry as his eyes watered. Look at you, crying and wallowing in self-pity. No wonder you got discharged, who wants a pathetic soldier who's weak. Kyle curled into himself, trying to silence these stupid thoughts, they just made him feel worse and more pathetic.
Kyle let out a quiet, choked sob, trying not to cry but it wasn't working. There were tears rolling down his cheeks and wetting his pillow. He eventually gave up and just cried, he couldn't care anymore, because what else could he do? He couldn't change the fact he's not a soldier anymore, he's too disabled for active duty. He couldn't change that the one person he loved dearly pushed him away like he never mattered, and then never bothered to check up on him after the disaster of that mission. It hurt so much, the man he needed the most never came.
OR
Gaz is struggling after injured from a mission and being discharged while trying to understand his feelings towards Price. Price pushes Gaz away because he thinks Gaz doesn't deserve a man like him.
