Summary
Basketball player Park Gunwook never really understood the rivalry between the basketball and football teams. Still, for some reason, football player Seok Matthew can't seem to get his eyes off him.
"If he hated Gunwook that much, why did he pay so much attention to him? Was it his looks? Gunwook was tall and buff, handsome, and had a great amount of fangirls. Matthew was short, but he was equally buff. Did Matthew have fangirls? Gunwook knew he was a social guy, but he seemed to have more friends than girls to get into his pants. That could be. He was jealous of Gunwook's popularity with girls. Yeah, it was logical."

Summary
“Let me help you with that.”
It’s official, Matthew’s going to murder this guy before the end of his shift and then Hao will fire him and he’ll, once again, be homeless. “I don’t need your help.”
He giggles, a stupid loud and high pitched giggle that really shouldn’t be coming out of an alpha in the first place if you ask Matthew. “Sure looks like you do.”
Matthew whirls around. “Because you think I’m some weak omega?”
The stupid smirk that spreads across the dumb alpha’s face really does nothing to help his homicidal thoughts.
“Because you’ve broken ten dishes and it’s not even dinner time yet.”
When Matthew’s handed the chance to finally escape the hell he’s called his life for the last 5 years, he takes it.
Now, landing on a small coastal town surrounded by people he’s forced to trust, he sets out looking for a fresh start and determined to leave his past back in New York. Which means staying clear of all dirty, no good alphas.
Unfortunately for him, his past isn’t as willing to let him go and there’s a particularly charming and annoyingly persistent alpha who’s determined to show him he’s got it all wrong.

Summary
“In this hypothetical situation,” Gunwook clears his throat, “It would be my honor to ask you out.”
Fuck, was that the wrong answer? Matthew was frowning now, lips downturned fully.
“Like, I’d show up with a bouquet of your favorite flowers too! What do you like? Oh, and a big teddy bear! If you like big teddy bears. If not, then I’d look for the next best option. Then I’d want to take you out to dinner. Do you like sushi? Korean? Indian? I have a list of restaurants in my Notes app that's a byproduct of me and my roommate’s indecisiveness. If you don’t know where to go, all we’d need is my list and a wheel generator.” Gunwook rambles without a moment to pause. He really needs to know when to shut up.
or: an au in where Gunwook finds a good reason to stay at a lousy party in the form of Seok Matthew, who asks him to (pretend to) be his boyfriend.
