Because he knew Parad, unlike Kuroto, would be able to understand. Because Parad was so much more than just a virus, he was an irreplaceable part of him. Without Parad, the current Hojo Emu would never have existed.
Emu had meant to teach Parad a lesson, but he had taught himself a very valuable one in the process.
