Summary
Vegas stops in the foyer and looks Pete up and down. “Pete.”
“Vegas!” Pete beams, still holding a hedgehog in his palms.
Vegas’s face is inscrutable; Pete can’t figure out what he is thinking for the life of him. Vegas walks forward and sinks to his knees in front of Pete, the hedgehogs all making excited noises, making attempts to approach him.
“What is this?” Vegas asks, his eyes suspiciously bright.
“Our new family?” Pete suggests, holding out the one in his hands that is currently taking a nap. “I haven’t named any of them, I wanted you to do that.”

Summary
Moments before Vegas and Pete are about to set off on a much needed holiday away from all the family drama, Vegas gets a call from Kinn asking for a favour. In exchange for Vegas' help getting information from a new target, Kinn will get their families off his and Pete's back.
Pete and Porsche aren't about to let their Alphas go meet some strange drug dealer in a shady club all alone, so they have a plan to go undercover as staff. However, the staff at this particular club are often asked to provide a different sort of entertainment, not just food and drinks.
