Sam straightened, wiping his dusty hands on his knees. “Alright, you’re gonna- this is gonna be O.K., yeah, Bucky?” He turned halfway to Zemo. “Too dark in here- can't see the source of the blood. I need a light."
“I have yours.” Out of nowhere, Zemo procured Sam’s phone. Sam pinned him with an incredulous stare, which the baron took without so much as blinking.
“Why do you have my-?”
“It was safer in my hands. You were flying. Your phone could’ve fallen,” Zemo responded with his very unwelcome calm.
This matter-of-fact statement was punctuated by the low thump of Bucky crumpling to the ground.

Summary
Shouto stops and stares at it. After a few seconds it dissolves into an advert for Cup Noodles, but Shouto keeps staring. Hawks is – not Japan’s #1. Endeavour is Japan’s #1. Endeavour, not Hawks. The new rankings won’t come out for months, and even when they do, unless a lot of things change it’s likely Endeavour will keep his spot. Not that Shouto cares about Endeavour’s rankings, but he does care about reality, and in reality, Endeavour is Japan’s #1. Not Hawks. It’s not Hawks.
What starts off as a normal-seeming Sunday starts to get stranger and stranger, until Shouto finds himself locked out of UA, with no money and no phone, and the only person he can find to help is Midoriya. But Midoriya is too tall and cries every time he looks at Shouto, and Shouto starts to think something has gone really, really wrong.
And as it turns out, that's just the start.
