After hopefully escaping the Operator, Tim fled to start a new life. Surely the operator stays in his territory and doesn't branch out. He wishes to leave it all behind, even his best friend, whom he hasn't heard after the filming of Marble Hornets, especially after all of these months with no contact.
Although, his life, which he hoped to live peacefully, was interrupted by a phone call from a hospital near Tuscaloosa, where all the trouble began.
