Summary
Initially, Zoro never understood why Sanji went through all the trouble of applying all these products to his face. If it was about keeping his skin healthy, he wouldn’t have run through a pack of cigarettes a day. If it was about preventing wrinkles, Sanji wouldn’t have bickered with Zoro as much and wouldn’t have laughed as hard as he always does around his friends. If it was about trying to prevent blemishes on his skin, there was nothing Sanji could do that would stop Zoro from believing that Sanji was any less beautiful, if not more beautiful than the day before.
So as to why Sanji continues this routine, Zoro tries racking his brain for any ideas, but to no avail. However, that lack of understanding only enticed him to this sacred ritual even further, so tonight he watches Sanji like every other night.

"Oh! Hey Logan!” Patton grinned, carefully placing the pie on top of the rack. “Are you enjoying Virgil’s present?”
“Of course he is; he literally bumped into me while running towards his room because his mind was too busy thinking about him to notice. Nearly spilled wine all over my new sweater you know."
Another voice appeared, and Logan turned to see Janus leaning against the doorway, sipping, or rather, downing, the red wine from the bottle with an unimpressed expression directed at him.
“Oh Janus, can you blame him? Virgil seemed to have put in a lot of effort towards his gift, and honestly, I think towards Christmas this year in general. I mean, he even offered to help bake this pie! Black current is definitely an interesting choice, but hey, you can’t knock it until you try it, am I right?”
Logan watched as Patton cut a slice of pie, the rich, dark purple filling oozing out from the cut and coating the knife along with the area of pie crust around it.

It had been one of those nights. Seldom, quiet and serene, where the present fell to the past and the future felt non-existent because these kinds of nights were never meant to exist, like a scene deleted from a perfectly planned TV show because it was never meant to be there in the first place. They had been drinking, a bit, side by side, and long drawn philosophical questions turned stupid questions to provoke Quackity to the silence which presented itself through Wilbur’s furrowed eyebrows.
“Like what?” He almost whispered as if he was pondering to himself the answer to that question.

Abandoning the book, Techno shuffled his feet quietly into the living room, trying to take a peek at whatever his brother was doing and perhaps scaring him out of whatever chaos he was trying to create.
Thankfully, no vase was broken and no fire was started; instead, there was a sea of boxes in front of him, which was nonetheless confusing.
"Tommy, what are you doing?" Techno asked while Tommy was struggling to stack one of the spare empty boxes on top of two other boxes.
"Castle."
"Heh?"
"Castle!" Tommy repeated it with a huff of frustration.

It’s still early enough in the day that they shouldn’t have to rush to go out and celebrate, but Zoro decides now he needs to run errands?
“I’m just dropping by Nami’s and picking up a few things. I’ll be back in like an hour. Tops.” Zoro argues while still stuffing a foot into his shoe. Sanji doesn’t believe him for a second.
