There’s silence on the other end. “That bad?” Iwaizumi asks after a few seconds of pause, then there’s more rustling as he appears to be getting out of bed. “Stay awake, Oikawa.”

“You’re being ridiculous,” Hajime complained. “No need to be so defensive. I’ve missed you too.”
“Oh?” Tooru seemed to get a little of his own back, leaning forward on his elbows. “What about me did you miss?”

If his brother thinks that friend can be Osamu, then so be it. Osamu could do this. He shouldn’t be doing this, his mind once again whispers as thoughts of how all this could go wrong loom in the back of his head.
Maybe Osamu should have let his mind explore those possibilities. Maybe then he wouldn’t have ended with a shattered heart; broken in half by one and rendered to pieces by another.

Or: Osamu's trying to find out if Bokuto and Akaashi are dating or not so he can ask one of them out. Which one? He… hasn't figured that out yet.

“Can I try?” It breaks this cozy silence that’s settled between them, a hazy expression having washed over the other’s face somewhere along the way. He squints at the boy, silver hair nearly glowing with the sunlight streaming from the window behind him. Another breathtaking sight, and one he can’t quite tear his gaze from this time. He wets his lips, pushing a scratchy voice out through a dry throat.
“Have you ever done anything like this before?” It’s a sincere question. While Suga is sometimes known for doing crazy stunts in leagues with some of the more rambunctious team members, Daichi is rather unsure if he’s ever actually been high before. If so, they’d have to take things slow.
