In the dark of night, from a barred window of stone in a dark, tall tower, a young man spots a shooting star moving across the sky. He closes his eyes and, despite feeling foolish, makes a wish from his heart.
When he opens them again he’s still trapped in his tower, but he feels a renewed sense of purpose.
His future is waiting for him and it’s not inside these walls.

Summary
Castiel has spent his entire life fighting against the prejudices of those who tried to tell him what he could and could not do as an omega. Who told him all he needed was to patiently wait for his alpha to show up, and then he would just *know* -- don't get him wrong, he doesn't resent what he is, but he's not about to let instinct dictate who he'll spend the rest of his life with.
In walks Dean Winchester, with his perfect smile and his perfect scent and his inability to keep his foot out of his mouth.
And Castiel knows they will take their time (but oh, how he wishes time would speed up).
A collection of drabbles within the same universe, showing how Cas and Dean's relationship slowly grows. The POV varies from drabble to drabble.

There aren't many things that Wei Ying is certain of in life. Most days, he's not certain of even himself. But Lan Zhan has always been an exception to that. His level ground, unbudged through the worst of storms. Lan Zhan is the one certainty that keeps him grounded, the pillar Wei Ying leans on when the world feels like it's running away from him.
