A queste parole, la linea tra le sopracciglia di Simone si fa appena un po’ più marcata. “Ti rendi conto che giochiamo a rugby, sì?” gli chiede.
Manuel pensa distrattamente di scavare una buca nel campetto e sotterrarsi. “Seh, ‘o so, ma questo che c’entra?”
Un’altra risata, un po’ stupita e un po’ dolce. Simone si fa un po’ più vicino, poggia una mano sulla transenna per sporgersi appena, come se gli stesse confessando un segreto. “Non so se te ne sei accorto, ma nel rugby il concetto di spazio personale è molto relativo.”
È abbastanza sicuro che il suo fegato abbia appena ceduto. “Ah.”
“Eh.” Simone piega un po’ la testa, gli riserva uno sguardo allo stesso tempo divertito e consapevole, forse un po’ anche dolce. “Che è, sei geloso?”

"No, non c'è differenza, un bacio è un bacio," Manuel gli ha appena risposto, gesticolando come fa sempre, con quelle sopracciglia inarcate che incorniciano gli occhi da cane bastonato.
Simone si morde l'interno della guancia per non scoppiare a ridergli in faccia. Quando stava con Laura ha visto otto stagioni di Scrubs, e ogni volta che JD si assentava per rifugiarsi in una delle sue fantasie lo capiva in maniera proprio molecolare. Nel retro della sua testa in questo momento infatti c'è un minicinema in cui proiettano cosa succederebbe se adesso prendesse Manuel per i capelli e gli dicesse ma allora sei proprio stronzo.
"Oh, ma che-lei se bacia un altro e so' stronzo io?"
Oops.
Vabbè. Quando si è in ballo bisogna ballare.
Simone risponde a tono. Contrariamente a ogni pronostico, per una volta gli va bene.
