Another new employee had joined the hospital. The hospital was always understaffed, so it was good to have new employees. As long as Security didn't have to engage in any conversation with the new hires for at least a month after their first shift, then she was fine. New hires were really damn incompetent. They died on their first week. She didn't want to get too close to them in fear of being heartbroken over their death.
She was sure that Dr. Harlow would make her learn how the medbay rooms worked first, right?
"Security, she will be under your watch for her first shift."

She opened the door, expecting to see an animal with its mouth wide open, showing all its disgusting, yellowy-brown teeth with green goo all over it. Instead, Security saw… nothing?
Suddenly, she felt a sharp, painful bite at her ankle. She looked down and saw the anomaly. Fuck. She had forgotten about crawlers.
