I mean, look at that dude there!" (He pointed at Remus.) "Called out his name twice and he still didn't seem to get the message. I had to walk over to give him his drink. He didn't even apologise!"
Lily stared at him with wide eyes.
"What?" Sirius asked.
"Sirius, Remus is deaf" Lily whispered.
"What?" Sirius asked.
"He can't hear" she explained.
"Yeah, I know what deaf- ooh" Sirius realised. "I fucked up, big time."
