Summary
Lucy learns, as children learn, to be what is useful. To be presentable. To take up precisely the amount of space allotted to her and no more. She learns the names of every noble family within eight territories. She learns how to enter a room. She learns that her value is a number that fluctuates depending on the season, depending on the contracts her father is negotiating, depending on whether she smiled at the right person's son at the right function.
She is eleven when he mentions, for the first time, that the Heartfilia family has a responsibility to its alliances.
She is twelve when she understands what he means.
She is not a daughter. She is a line item.
— wherein Lucy Heartfilia carries everything, and learns, slowly, what is worth setting down.

Summary
Loke stands at the top of the ruins, and as she watches him get smaller and smaller, she can’t help but think that he looks so lonely up there, all on his own.
Wendy’s voice breaks her out of her reverie, and she’s thrown into another battle with one of her dear spirits.
Her heart is heavy with grief, cracking so vividly that she’s scared someone might have heard. That someone could see her fragility, plain as day.
“Please, forgive me,”
OR:
Lucy can't bring herself to hurt any of her spirits, even when they can't remember her.

Summary
It has been three months since the Veilguard fell. Three months since the rest of the Evanuris — long supposed to be dead — emerged from the Veil. Three months since Solas abandoned her.
Three months that Rook has been at the mercy of vengeful, insane gods.
The plan to save her, like many of the plans Solas has, is decidedly terrible.
But she is at the mercy of that, too.

Summary
Somewhere in Fereldan, fighting demons alongside his mortal enemy and should-be-dead friend, Rook has a thought. This is never good, but right now, with the Dread Wolf studying him like he’s an equation to be solved, it’s especially not good.
The thing is, Rook isn’t sure how it happened. Well, that’s a lie. He knows the before part. It’s the after part that gets him.
He died.
Or at least, it sure felt like he died.

Summary
By the time Elgar’nan is dead, Rook is the last of the Veilguard standing. Solas succeeds in killing him, damning the world, but Rook succeeds in killing Solas, too.
The world is going to end, but at least Rook’s taking the Dreadwolf out with him. If not for the fact that his lungs were filling with blood, he’d laugh.
And then, Rook wakes up (mostly) alive 12 years in the past. He’s not sure how yet, but this is probably Solas’s fault.
