Mac can smell Charlie from down the street, the overwhelming wave usually so slight he could barely catch it now heavy enough it felt like he could swim through it. Mowed grass and hot Philly pavement in the summer, the soapy vegetal scent of mildew that Mac secretly didn't mind clinging to Charlie's basement walls. Salt, warmth. He trips on his shoelaces the second he recognizes it, how powerful it is, what the frantic phone call he got ten minutes before must've meant.
Charlie must be going through his first heat.

Summary
Every sexual encounter he’s experienced has left Jayce Talis unsatisfied and frustrated, mostly because all of his hookups assume that he’s a top based on his size and demeanor and aren’t really open to switching it up once they’re getting down to business.
Jayce wants to bottom. Bad. He shares these grievances to another patron at a bar in the undercity who seems to have the similar experience on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Insert a sexually secure and confident Viktor (very much an experienced top) who can literally smell the desperation to bottom just oozing off of Jayce’s form. He can give him exactly what he wants… and he does.
