Summary

Beverly threatens his life if he doesn’t call or send letters, Ben promises that they’ll all save up money and come visit him. Richie promises letters and calls and tells them all how much he loves them, really does love them, and then it’s Eddie. He doesn’t say anything, pulls Eddie into his chest, as close as he can possibly get him. Eddie’s arms are wrapped around his waist and Richie wants to live in this moment forever if he can. They don’t let go for what seems like years in Richie’s head, and then they do, and Richie decides it’s the most wonderful time to do something very stupid. He leans in, a little, and kisses Eddie."
