Summary
Yesod receives orders to wear a tool abnormality that seems to require more extended use then the typical workday allows, and as the Captain of the Information Department, he has no reason (or right) to refuse.
The uniform seems to be a perfect fit- but, by the time he uncovers the truth, it may be impossible to tell exactly who is wearing who.
---
On the occasions that his direct presence was required, he typically was tasked with handling abnormalities that required a level head, or a cold heart.
Callous as it made him, it was also the reason why he was so efficient. It was what got him his current position, the relative safety of a Captain deemed skilful enough to be worth keeping somewhere safe, overseeing the rest of his department. He kept his emotions in check, even when chaos overtook the facility, and he was capable enough to push through the workday if the rest of the Information Department died.
He wasn’t naive enough to think that wasn’t part of the reason why he’d been able to stay alive so long.

Summary
Benjamin was born in a Nest. His middle-class parents loved him and taught him how to navigate through his life. He grew up, studied neuroscience, and eventually became a respected researcher and doctor. He made many friends—Ayin, Carmen, Gabriel, and many other kind people. He fell in love, got married, and named his first son after his mentor Ayin. No one ever mentioned anything about the Disease of Mind, saving the world, religion, or scripts.

Bookmarker's Notes
"I’m bleeding from my nose. I slam my head against the table until my forehead bleeds. I want to crush my own frontal lobe. I write the script in my own blood. My hands tremble from the nicotine patches and the Enkephalin that keep me awake. Sweat pours down. These things allow me to stay awake for 166 hours straight. Benjamin wants me to stop abusing substances. He speaks kindly. I don't listen."
