Summary
Cazador lost two of his spawn the day that the Illithid ship reaped the streets of Baldur's Gate. Unbeknownst to him, one has been dead from the start, and the other is far from the lost, terrified pet he expects to snatch back without much trouble.
He finds this out not from his coven's intel, but because rumours spread fast in the city. Talk of a white haired elf with scarlet eyes, fairest as can be, that took part in the killing of a Chosen; that he travels with companions worthy of song and legend. And the moment that Dalyria returns with news of his wayward son basking in the sun and his scent mingled with the blood of his so called friend, Cazador knows at once that snatching him back as he’d planned won’t be enough.
