Summary
Everything had changed next to the Waffle house.
In hindsight, it was quite ironic. Stan would end up saying so himself, yet in the moment it was the most terrifying moment of Ford's life. Not losing his college, not getting Stan kicked out. But seeing his brother bleed out onto the snow.
This moment will change everything.

Summary
It made a flicker sound as he lit it, he watched the way that the flames moved with a hazy gaze.
His mother used to be an alcoholic. It wasn’t so noticeable from an outside view, of course that came with her job profile. Her children knew better, though. She usually was seen drinking from a glass of cheap wine, stolen or not. Sometimes, she’d pass out from how excessive she’d drink, slumping down on his bed and curling onto his legs, muttering off about this and that. Thinking about his mother made him scoff, it was obvious which twin had inherited her exposure to addiction, he thought to himself as the light flickered off.

“Alright then, Fidds, you’re my drinking buddy for tonight. How do ya’ feel bout that?” Stan changed his seat, instead taking to the seat right next to the guy. How else was he supposed to spout random stories that are probably illegal to say?
“Huh. Guess I could use someone for just today.”

Summary
“I never wanted to bring you down! You were always just ashamed of having a good for nothin’ like me as your brother.” Ford looked at him as if he was stupid, he always had. It was just the cherry on top that had made Ford realize it. Stan knew it, his Ma and Pa knew it, hell, even the assholes they used to get bullied by knew it. Stan would be nothing when he grew up, probably knocking up some poor girl then having kids by the time he was barely 19.
“When have I ever said that? You were always just jealous of me! You couldn’t stand that I was the smart one and you never did anything that would make our Pa proud.”
|| Or, Stan Pines is less able to fight, and is forced to talk about it.

Summary
There’s more to this story, Lars can feel it brimming in his very bones. He can feel it squirming around in the tangled coils of his guts, a primal, virulent rot that threatens to consume him from the inside out. Something is off with Steven, something is distinctly wrong.
And oh, does he hate being right.
-
When an unexpected visitor tumbles through the magic portal in his hair long after hours, breathless and bright pink, Lars must amass the courage to weather one of the most difficult conversations of his life.

Summary
"What is it meant by... making love? I have been recently... informed in the way of various kinds of intercourse."
Oh boy. Robert did not want to have this conversation; it's far too late and he is very much not cut out for this.
Or drunk enough.

I saw gentle fanart of our boy Robert Robertson kissing Phenomaman's forehead and I went feral. I am not sorry.

Summary
He’s practically surrounded in a ring of blue fire now. No way to back out.
(He wants to cry but he won’t. If he’s going down, he’ll go down with a grin. He’ll go down lying 'til the bitter end.)
“Heh,” he chuckles to himself. He cradles the fading photograph in his hands as blue flames lick at the corner of the picture frame. “Guess I was good for something after all.”
Then, he closes his eyes, draws in one last breath.
And he lets go.
