Summary
Metal Sonic had just finished self-repair, it was only a temporary patch up and he had to return to the doctor’s side as fast as he could. With a busted engine, the robot had no choice but to trudge all the way up the mountain, accidentally stumbling upon a young and masterless organic. To his dismay, the disgusting creature had clung to his rigid frame and he barely had enough energy to fight it. Whatever, he’ll just have to ask Orbot to throw the kid later.

Summary
Macaque hummed thoughtfully, "Not surprising, as if he'd want you knowing the truth. Let me guess, it's me that you can't get any answers on, right?"
"Yes! I saw you both in the Scroll of Memory - I know you were important to him but you aren't in any version of Journey to the West I can find and Monkey King just refuses to talk about you!"
"I'm flattered, kid. But I'm afraid you're not entitled to my life story."
"What! Since when do you pass up on the chance to do something to annoy Monkey King!"
"Ah, but it's no fun if I just straight up tell you."
MK learns what happened between the Six-Eared Macaque and Monkey King. He's going to wish he hadn't.

Summary
So why was he succumbing to these inexplicable sensations? Why was it so arduous to meet Macaque's gaze? In the countless encounters between Macaque and Wukong, their eyes frequently locked in fierce opposition, their glares penetrating each other's souls, and their tongues lashing out in venomous disdain. Yet, amidst this ceaseless conflict, why did this particular juncture prove to be the most difficult?
(Plot: Macaque is somehow transformed back into his past self and Wukong can't handle both him and his own emotions.)

Summary
Things were weird. They didn't talk about it.
Macaque was coming by again. The first time had been at night, so soon after they'd both been freed that the ground around them was still littered with jagged ice stalagmites, now inert. They were already melting. They would be gone on their own eventually.
Wukong watched him pummel one into slush.
After a minute, he wordlessly stepped out and helped crush them to puddles with their bare hands. The extent of her influence left the two of them working for the better part of an hour before they could no longer see any on the horizon. Their work done, Macaque had slunk back into the shadows. But he came back. Again, at night. He kept to the trees, nosing into his scarf and whiling the night away reclined and stealing whatever fruit grew at hand. He didn't sleep. Wukong would have been a hypocrite to bring it up. He was gone again come morning, always seeming to slip away when Wukong had his eyes off him.
Night five of that, and Wukong left the shack door ajar.
Night seven, and Macaque came inside.
