Some secrets need to be kept, because they can be dangerous. They can be dangerous to know, and dangerous to be known. However, sometimes the need to tell is greater than the reason for the secret.
Bram has a secret that Simon doesn’t know. Bram is not supposed to tell, but the strain of the secret is wearing on his relationship. If he keeps it, he may lose Simon.
If he tells, he could still lose Simon, and a lot more.

"I’m sorry again, I promise this is not how I usually am with people," she said, trying to be polite and not completely embarrass herself with her hot neighbor. She probably shouldn't refer to him as 'her hot neighbor' either. "I’m Julie," she said, holding her hand out for him to shake.
The guy looked between her and her outstretched hand for a second without saying anything. He held a finger up, gesturing for her to wait as he disappeared behind the door for a few seconds. Julie was confused, not sure if that was strange or rude, but she had just unloaded her bad day on him so she could probably give him the benefit of the doubt.
He was back a couple of seconds later, holding his phone and quickly typed something. He turned the screen towards Julie who was now getting more confused, until she read what was actually on it.
I'm Luke.
Or, 5 times Julie couldn't understand everything Luke said, plus one time there was no communication barrier

Summary

At first, Harry is on guard, distrustful of Draco even if he is the reason Draco avoided prison time. But then Harry realizes that Draco is different. He’s sadder, quieter, calmer, and kinder. Harry is fascinated by this new Draco, and, as they grow closer, he realizes that he never properly understood Draco before.
This is a very slow burn but will eventually get VERY dirty and explicit. Smut begins chapter 8!
