    "It's... this." Green rummaged around in their pack before pulling out something that looked like a strange, round rock. "This fell out of the sky one night, on the worm farm. I was just a kid, running up to see what it was, and when I picked it up..."

    Green fell silent, turning the "rock" over in their hands. They seemed lost in thought, though snapped out of it when Blue reached over.

    "DON'T TOUCH IT!"  Green pulled back sharply, growling as Blue took a step back, holding up their hands in surrender. Seeing the doctor in such a state gave Green pause, putting the "rock" back in their pack.

    "Sorry... it's just..." Green paused, before fully sighing, mouth cracking open as Blue got their first look at what Green had been hiding. "Nobody else has ever touched it. Not even back then. And... I don't even want to know what'd happen if someone did, after it did this to me." Green stuck the tip of the tongue out of their mouth, and while Blue was trying their best to be respectful,

    If you asked Douglas Harper, he'd say it all went wrong on the day of the 59th Presidential election. November 8th, 2020. No one was quite sure who won that election, not even the candidates themselves, but they both claimed they had won. Three years down the line, and look where that had gotten them. Three years in and a little over a million dead, the end of the Second American Civil War was nowhere in sight. Florida was held by a genocidal Satanist death cult, Neo-Nazis and radical Christian terrorists were fighting over Michigan's lower peninsula, fascists were pushing from New England, Commiefornia was living up to it's name, and the Battle of Saint Louis as still raging.

    If you asked Douglas Harper how he'd ended up in another universe, he couldn't tell you.

    A soldier of the Union of America ends up in Skyrim a few months before High King Torygg is murdered. The problem? He knows nothing about Skyrim.
