Honestly the embarrassment of this entire debacle was going to murder Trixie. It was going to kill her dead and then Kim would gleefully turn it into some shitty E! True Hollywood Story docu-drama or something—Pitiful Pining Killed the Pussycat: The Trixie Mattel Story.
And that was why Trixie was never, ever, ever telling Kim that when she was trying to text angry threats to her, she had instead accidentally texted Katya Zamolodchikova. Her embarrassing gay crush from four years ago. Completely out of the blue. Because her gay ass hadn’t deleted their long abandoned, years old text chain out of sheer longing.
Yeah. It was pretty bad.

Sure, her first mission sitting console is covering the extremely undesirable mission control night shift for the International Space Station, but Trixie’ll be damned if this does not go flawlessly.

World famous makeup artist and makeup mogul Trixie Mattel had big plans for 2020. And then, well… 2020 happened. Grounded in LA for the foreseeable future and going out of her mind without her work, Trixie decided to go back to her roots; YouTube videos. The only problem is Trixie’s former video editor is unavailable, forcing Trixie to hire Katya Zamolodchikova to do the job. Turns out the two of them are a match made in heaven; Katya loves mocking Trixie in Trixie’s own videos, Trixie loves acting a fool with makeup and toy ovens on camera, and the viewers love shipping the two of them together.
If only they had ever actually met.

Trixie? Trixie Mattel loved her job at the Canadian Children’s History Museum. She was the best damn toy curator you’d ever meet. So why she was being punished by acting as the museum rep for the “Engaging Children and Students In GLAM!” discussion panel at the annual GLAM conference was beyond her. Even worse? This meant she’s going to have to work with her professional archnemesis--University of Toronto archivist Katya Zamolodchikova. Throw in Toronto Public Library rep librarian Valentina Rivera and not even level-headed Art Gallery of Ontario modern art curator Sasha Velour or panel moderator Dela Creme can keep this powder keg from blowing.
(Or will Trixie and Katya realize in time that they must overcome their contentious past and join forces in order to defeat the true Galleries-Libraries-Archives-Museums conference evil: librarians?)
