  Summary

  “Who’s this?” It’s directed towards Nico despite him looking directly at Luke. His eyes now hold something more, something Luke can’t place. He gives him his best soft smile, hoping that his eyes or cheeks aren’t giving away the very unprofessional thoughts running through his brain currently.

  “This is Luke Hughes, my new teaching fellow.” The man extends a hand and Luke meets him in the middle.

  “Doctor John Marino, department head of Psychology.” His voice is soft and low and his grip is firm but gentle; Luke feels his knees wobble ever so slightly.
